Working within our manufacturing department, you will manufacture a diverse range of pharmaceutical, therapeutic and personal care products, including creams, gels and liquid products. This is an key manufacturing position suited to someone who understands how to produce quality bulk products in a controlled GMP environment and takes pride in getting the manufacturing process right.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacturing and compounding bulk products in accordance with approved manufacturing instructions and GMP requirements
- Weighing, dispensing and addition of raw materials
- Operating mixing, processing and bulk manufacturing equipment
- Equipment setup, changeover and cleaning
- Monitoring critical manufacturing parameters including mixing, temperature, time and product consistency
- Performing in-process checks and recording manufacturing information accurately
- Completing batch documentation and GMP records
- Identifying and troubleshooting manufacturing or equipment issues
- Working closely with Production and Quality personnel to achieve production schedules
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and GMP compliance
About you
- Strong hands-on experience in bulk manufacturing or product compounding
- A sound understanding of GMP and controlled manufacturing environments
- Experience following batch manufacturing instructions and completing GMP documentation
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence operating manufacturing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and practical problem-solving ability
- An understanding of the importance of weighing accuracy, process control and product quality
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a manufacturing team
- Physical fitness appropriate for normal manufacturing and manual-handling activities
