Warehouse Team Leader

Torchmaster Australia is a proudly Australian, family-owned welding supplies business with a growing national presence. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Team Leader to take ownership of daily warehouse operations while supporting customers and sales.

This is a hands-on role within a small, supportive team—perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and keeping things running smoothly.

About the Role

You will oversee and participate in daily warehouse and customer service operations, including:

Warehouse Operations

- Opening and closing the warehouse.

- Picking and packing orders.

- Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods using FIFO principles.

- Coordinating dispatch, freight bookings and courier consignments.

- Performing stocktakes, cycle counts, and managing damaged or transferred stock.

- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant warehouse environment.

- Leading and supporting a small stores team.

Customer & Sales Support

- Handling customer enquiries (phone & email), pickups, and walk-ins.

- Entering orders,



processing invoices and updating CRM systems.

- Assisting with quotes, enquiries and stock availability.

About You

You will bring:

- Experience in warehouse or stores operations.

- Leadership experience or the confidence to guide a small team.

- Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

- Computer literacy, especially with warehouse or inventory systems.

- Experience in welding, industrial, or trade supply products is highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

- Current driver’s licence.

- Forklift Licence preferred.

- Physically capable of performing warehouse duties safely.
