ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Project Manager to join the Sydney team.
The opportunity could suit an established Assistant Project Manager looking to broaden their project exposure, or someone from an Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Property background looking to transition into client-side Project Management.

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Directors, you'll support the delivery of residential apartment and retirement living developments across Sydney.

You'll gain hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, including design management, consultant coordination, planning and approvals, procurement, construction delivery and project close-out.

For someone transitioning from another built-setting discipline, this is an opportunity to apply your existing technical and project experience while developing the broader commercial, stakeholder and delivery skills required to build a successful career in client-side project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES





- Support the delivery of residential and retirement living developments from planning through to completion
- Assist with project programmes, budgets, reporting and key deliverables
- Coordinate architects, engineers and other project consultants
- Assist with design management and consultant coordination
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and approval authorities
- Assist with procurement, tendering and contractor engagement
- Attend project, design and site meetings and coordinate actions
- Monitor project progress, risks, programme and key milestones
- Prepare project reports, meeting minutes and other documentation
- Support contract administration and construction-phase activities
- Develop strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We're open to candidates from a range of built-environment backgrounds. You may already be working within client-side project management, or you could be looking to make the transition from a related discipline.
Ideally, you'll have:

- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Property, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
- Approximately 2-5 years' experience within the property, construction or development industry
- Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or within Architecture, Engineering, Design Management, Construction or a related consultancy environment
- Exposure to residential, apartment,



retirement living or mixed-use developments would be advantageous
- A valuable understanding of the design and construction process
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in client-side project management
- Full Australian working rights
