We are looking to recruit a friendly, self-motivated, and hard-working Junior Hazardous Materials Consultant to join my client's busy and growing Sydney team.

This position is suitable for someone who has graduated in Chemistry, Science, Engineering or a discipline related to environmental or preferably occupational hygiene type roles.

Ideally we want someone who has around ONE YEAR of working in a similar role (or the wider asbestos industry) so you know what you're getting yourself into. Applications will also be accepted from RECENT GRADUATES who are looking to start an environmental career in Hazardous Materials consulting.

We want a well-organised person with excellent communications skills who backs themself to pick things up quickly.

About the company:

They are a company specialising in Occupational Hygiene, HAZMAT and Contaminated Land consulting services. Their head office is based in Sydney, with other branches including Newcastle and Brisbane.

About the role:





You will be involved in air monitoring and clearances, inspections, surveying and at some stage some lab work. Quality training will be provided to help set up and progress your career.

You'll require a valid drivers license.

A starting base salary of $67K + super is on offer for a fresh grad. More money dependant on your relevant experience. This is the type of role where your pay will quickly increase as your industry skills and certifications do.
