Star of the Sea Home for the Aged is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our team in Wallaroo.

About the role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work as part of our clinical and care team to support the health, wellbeing and individual needs of our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care

- Medication administration within your scope of practice

- Monitoring residents and identifying and reporting changes in health or wellbeing

- Supporting care planning, assessments and clinical documentation

- Working closely with Registered Nurses, Personal Care Workers and other members of the multidisciplinary team

- Communicating effectively with residents, families and representatives

- Supporting residents to maintain choice, dignity, independence and quality of life

- Contributing to a positive, respectful and supportive workplace culture

- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Working in accordance with organisational policies,



professional standards and aged care requirements

About you

We are looking for someone who is not only clinically capable but genuinely enjoys working with older people.

You will ideally have:

- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse

- A commitment to providing respectful and person-centred aged care

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Sound clinical judgement within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice

- Good organisational and time-management skills

- Confidence using electronic clinical documentation systems, or a willingness to learn

- A positive, flexible and supportive approach to your work

Experience in residential aged care is desirable; however, we also welcome applications from Enrolled Nurses who are interested in developing their career in aged care.
