Wavelink is seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist to help drive operational excellence through technology, automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role sits within the Process & Business Excellence team and acts as the bridge between business operations and technology. You will work across multiple departments to identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, automate workflows, and enhance user experiences through practical technology solutions.

You will play a key role in supporting Wavelink's digital transformation journey, helping to optimise our core business platforms, develop AI-enabled solutions, and create scalable processes that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation Development

- Design and build scripts, integrations, and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency by using appropriate technology

- Implement and maintain practical AI components, leveraging existing ML frameworks and AI agent architectures if already exist or build AI components as per of the solution

- Support integration between business systems such as NetSuite and HubSpot or any other applications/software

- Support teams in adopting and effectively using AI technologies

- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and identify practical business applications

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and recommend appropriate technology

- Assist with analysing and documenting business processes

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business

- Assist with project planning, testing, implementation, training and stakeholder communication

General Business Systems Support – HubSpot, iAsset

- Support system integration and data synchronisation initiatives





- Support the ongoing enhancement and optimisation of HubSpot, iAsset and broader technical stack within Wavelink.

- Assist with troubleshoot technical issues across current technical stack or solutions

- Assist with system administration activities

- Assist with developing integrations between NetSuite, HubSpot, iAsset, Power BI and other business applications.

- Support data quality, reporting, and process consistency across business systems

Governance

- Work closely with the Manager of Process and Business Excellence to prioritise improvement opportunities

- Collaborate with the external senior developer on solution design and technical validation, and participate in code reviews, testing, maintenance and solution handovers

- Follow established development, documentation, and governance standards within Wavelink

Skills & Experience:

- 2+ years experience in a system administration or dev role

- Experience using AI solution in process automation or business transformation related activities

- Basic to intermediate level knowledge of SQL, Python, AI tools, JavaScript or similar application

- Basic to intermediate level knowledge of ERP/CRM platforms, HubSpot is desirable

- Experience with APIs and integrations

- Experience creating workflows, automations, reports, or integrations within CRM or ERP environments

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with supporting or administering business systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, or similar platforms is favourable

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Curious mindset with a willingness to learn current technologies and approaches
