This respected South Australian organisation plays an important role in supporting industry across the state. With a strong reputation and collaborative workplace culture, they are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join their finance team and support a range of operational and strategic finance activities.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial management, payroll and reporting services across the organisation. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational accounting duties with financial analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:

- Processing weekly and fortnightly payrolls
- Managing payroll reconciliations and statutory obligations including superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring and managing debtor accounts
- Processing invoicing and receipts
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities
- Preparing management reports and financial analysis




- Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding finance-related matters
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and finance processes

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Accounting qualification, with CPA/CA highly regarded
- Previous experience in a broad accounting position
- Strong payroll knowledge and experience
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
