The Company
Our client is delivering a significant enterprise-wide TechnologyOne transformation program aimed at modernising core business systems, improving employee experience and creating a unified digital setting across the organisation.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / ERP Learning Specialist to support the successful implementation of a new TechnologyOne HRIS platform. Rather than a traditional training role, this position focuses on designing and developing high-quality learning solutions that enable end users to confidently adopt new systems, processes and ways of working.
Working closely with SMEs, project teams, change managers and business stakeholders, you will translate complex business processes into engaging, practical and user-focused learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning content for TechnologyOne HRIS users.
- Create eLearning modules, facilitator guides, quick reference guides, job aids and digital learning resources.
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify learning gaps.
- Translate business process changes into clear, effective learning materials.
- Partner with SMEs and project teams to capture knowledge and develop learning solutions.
- Support user adoption activities during system rollout.
- Contribute to change and communication initiatives across the ERP program.
- Review learning effectiveness and continuously improve training materials based on feedback.
- Ensure learning content aligns with adult learning principles and best practice instructional design methodologies.
What We Need From You
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Designer or Learning Specialist.
- Experience supporting ERP, HRIS or enterprise technology transformations.
- Strong capability developing digital learning resources and blended learning programs.
- Experience using learning authoring tools and content development platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex processes into easy-to-understand learning content.
- Experience working within organisational change and transformation programs.
- TechnologyOne HRP, HRIS or local government experience highly regarded.
