As a Terminal Operator, you'll be part of the team that keeps essential fuel products moving safely and reliably through our Brisbane Terminals. Supporting both terminal and shipping operations, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe receipt, storage and distribution of fuel products while helping maintain the integrity and reliability of terminal operations.

This role is offered as a max-term contract until July 2027, with the possibility of extension or permanency for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with colleagues, contractors and vessel operators, learning a broad range of terminal and shipping activities while contributing to a strong safety culture and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

- Keep the terminal running safely by identifying hazards, managing risks, and supporting a culture where safety is always the highest priority.




- Support terminal and shipping operations to ensure fuel products are received, stored and transferred safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational requirements.
- Monitor and maintain site integrity through regular inspections, hazard identification and implementation of appropriate controls.
- Work alongside contractors and service providers to ensure HSSE requirements, terminal rules and operating procedures are followed at all times.
- Respond to operational issues in real time, escalating concerns and supporting solutions that keep terminal activities running smoothly and safely.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, reliability and operational performance.
- Learn and develop across a broad range of terminal and shipping processes, with comprehensive training provided to build your technical knowledge and capability.
- Work a varying roster, including some night and weekend shifts, as part of a team supporting operations seven days a week.

About You

You're someone who takes pride in doing important work well and thrives in an environment where safety, teamwork and accountability come first. You enjoy being hands-on, can manage competing priorities, and stay calm under pressure when situations change.

You communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others and aren't afraid to speak up when something doesn't look right. You're organised,



adaptable and motivated to learn new skills, with the ability to follow procedures while also looking for opportunities to improve the way things are done.

You'll also bring:

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- A proactive approach to safety and risk management
- A willingness to learn new systems, processes and technical skills
- Experience working in high-risk or highly regulated environments (advantageous but not essential)
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications
- Permanent Australian working rights

Previous fuel industry experience is not required. We provide full training and support to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the role.
