About the role…
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer / Director of Regional Development, the Corporate Services Manager is responsible for coordinating the governance, finance administration, compliance, people administration, records management, corporate systems and office operations of the organisation. This is a 0.7FTE part-time position based at the RDABGLAP offices in Nuriootpa.
Working closely with the CEO, Board and Finance, Governance & Risk Committee, you will ensure financial processes, governance requirements, corporate records and recurring organisational obligations are effectively coordinated.
This is a broad and hands-on role requiring discretion, sound judgement and the confidence to work with a high degree of autonomy. You will take ownership of corporate administration, anticipate upcoming priorities and use your skills to improve the systems and processes that support effective organisational performance.
What you will do…
- Governance and Board Support - Coordinate Board and Committee calendars, agendas, papers, minutes, action registers, policies and governance records.
- Finance Coordination and Controls - Coordinate accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll inputs, financial documentation, budget monitoring and recurring finance obligations including, funding reports, acquittals.
- Risk and Compliance - Maintain corporate obligation calendars, risk and governance registers,
insurance administration and compliance records, while following up agreed actions.
- People Administration - Maintain confidential employee records and coordinate employment documentation, recruitment administration, onboarding, offboarding, leave and professional-development records.
- Records and Information Management - Maintain reliable corporate records, filing structures, registers, document controls and appropriate access to sensitive information.
- Office and Corporate Systems - Coordinate office operations, facilities, service providers, ICT support, system access, equipment, licences and subscriptions.

What they are looking for…
- Demonstrated experience in corporate services, governance administration, business administration, finance administration or a comparable role.
- Experience supporting Boards, committees, executives or senior management.
- Sound financial understanding, including financial administration, internal controls and coordination with external finance providers.
- Strong governance capability, with the ability to prepare accurate minutes, maintain records and coordinate recurring obligations.
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Solid written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear, concise and professional documentation.
- High levels of discretion and judgement when handling confidential Board, financial, employee and organisational information.
- Strong records and information-management capability and confidence using Microsoft 365.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and identify risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong relationship skills and the confidence to work with employees, Board members and external professional advisers.
A relevant qualification in business administration, governance, accounting, bookkeeping or a related discipline will be well regarded. Experience within a government-funded or not-for-profit organisation, Board administration, audit coordination, funding acquittals, HR administration or risk and compliance would also be advantageous.
Experience with MYOB AccountRight, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate or comparable systems would be beneficial.
