McArthur is working with Helping Hand, seeking an experienced Quality & Excellence Manager to provide strategic leadership across quality, clinical governance, compliance, risk and continuous improvement within a large Home Care division.This is an initial 6-8 week locum opportunity, with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Home Care, you will lead the Quality and Continuous Improvement team and work closely with senior leaders to drive high-quality, safe and person centred care. We are looking for someone who can quickly pick up the work, make a lasting impact and enjoy the work they do with evidence-based outcomes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Leading quality, compliance, risk and continuous improvement across Home Care
- Providing leadership and direction to the Quality & Continuous Improvement team
- Overseeing internal audits, quality plans and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitoring clinical, operational and compliance data to identify trends and risks




- Supporting preparation for Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission audits and regulatory reviews
- Providing advice on clinical governance, compliance, incidents and complex complaints
- Preparing reports, dashboards and key performance information for senior leadership
- Coaching and influencing leaders and teams to embed a solid culture of quality and accountability

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- A tertiary clinical qualification with AHPRA registration (e.g. Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional)
- At least 3 years' experience in quality management
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation and quality improvement frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance and clinical governance, ideally within Home Care
- Strong data analysis, reporting and project management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to influence, coach and collaborate across multiple teams

Senior management experience within Australian aged care and/or project or change management qualifications will be highly regarded.
