Join Bowyer Psychology
Bowyer Psychology is an established multidisciplinary private practice in Mount Pleasant, bringing together Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Speech Pathology, Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology to provide assessment and therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
We are looking for a Clinical Neuropsychologist, Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar, Clinical Psychologist or Educational Psychologist to join our established assessment team.
Assessment is a significant part of our practice, with a diverse referral base and opportunities to work across neurodevelopmental presentations, concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), acquired brain injury (ABI), neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, learning and developmental concerns, and complex diagnostic presentations.
We recognise that different disciplines and clinicians bring different areas of expertise. We don't expect every clinician to work across every area, and wherever possible caseloads can be shaped around your experience, interests and career goals.
The Opportunity
Depending on your qualifications and interests, your work may include:
- Neurodevelopmental assessment, including ADHD, autism and other developmental presentations
- Concussion, TBI, ABI, neurological and neurodegenerative assessment
- Child and adolescent developmental, learning and educational assessment
- Complex assessment, diagnostic clarification and differential diagnosis
- Multidisciplinary assessment, comprehensive report writing and feedback
- Opportunities for appropriately experienced clinicians to undertake independent and medico-legal assessment
Our referral base includes individuals and families, medical and allied health professionals, schools, government agencies,
insurers and legal referrers.
A Role Shaped Around Your Expertise
Clinical Neuropsychology Registrars
We provide Psychology Board-approved supervision, a varied caseload that can be tailored to supervised practice requirements, comprehensive assessment resources and opportunities to progressively develop clinical independence.
Experienced Clinical Neuropsychologists
There is scope to shape your caseload around your clinical interests, including complex assessment, concussion/TBI/ABI, neurological presentations, consultation, supervision and, where desired, medico-legal work.
Clinical Psychologists & Educational Psychologists
We welcome clinicians who would like to bring their existing assessment expertise to the practice or further develop this area of their work. Educational Psychologists are particularly welcomed for child and adolescent neurodevelopmental, cognitive and learning assessment. Clinical Psychologists wishing to broaden their assessment skills can access assessment-focused supervision and consultation from experienced Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists.

- Varied and interesting assessment work with an established referral base
- Comprehensive, fully resourced assessment library

Bowyer Psychology is led by Charlotte Bowyer, Clinical Director, dual-endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist, and Psychology Board-approved supervisor.
About You
You will have:
- Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology or Educational & Developmental Psychology, or eligibility to undertake/currently completing the relevant registrar program
- Relevant assessment experience appropriate to your qualifications and career stage
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication and report-writing skills
- A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based assessment and cooperative practice
Interested?
We would be very happy to have a confidential conversation about the role, including caseload, days, supervision and the areas of assessment that interest you.
Interested, but not sure whether the role is the exact fit? We still welcome a conversation. The position can be shaped around the experience, interests and availability of the right clinician.
Full-time and part-time applications are welcome, as are enquiries from interstate clinicians considering a move to Perth.
Please send your CV, addressed to Charlotte Bowyer, Clinical Director, to *****@bowyerpsychology.com.au.
