About the role

We are seeking a talented Selections & Design Consultant to join our team at our Beverley showroom in South Australia. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of sales and design. As a Selections & Design Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers, both retail and builders clients, through their product selection journey. Your daily focus will be driving sales results whilst building lasting relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted design advisor.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome and engage customers visiting the showroom, understanding their needs, preferences and project requirements

- Provide expert product knowledge and design recommendations tailored to individual customer specifications and budgets

- Prepare quotations and detailed project specifications for customer approval

- Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to order placement and project handover

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, offering ongoing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, looking after key accounts where relevant

- Collaborate with designers, architects and builders to ensure project success and customer satisfaction

- Stay current with product ranges, design trends and industry developments to provide informed recommendations

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the showroom

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, preferences and project details

What we're looking for





- Proven experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the bathroom, kitchen, laundry selections, or building industry.

- Strong design focus and an eye for detail, with the ability to guide customers through design choices confidently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clientele

- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions for customers

- Sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a sales environment

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously

- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and going the extra mile

- Flexibility and willingness to learn about new products and design approaches continuously
