The Opportunity
Are you a Speech Pathologist looking for greater flexibility without giving up clinical support and career development?
This is an opportunity to join an established mobile allied health team supporting adults across Geelong and surrounding areas.
Working across community and residential aged care settings, you'll provide assessment and intervention for clients experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties, including people living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, progressive neurological conditions and age-related changes.
You'll have genuine autonomy over your working day, with the ability to manage your own calendar and structure appointments around your lifestyle.

Manage your own diary and structure your working hours in a way that works for you. Full-time is available, with flexible part-time arrangements also considered.
Varied adult caseload
Develop your experience across both communication and dysphagia while supporting adults with a broad range of neurological and age-related presentations.
Excellent new graduate support
New graduates receive regular 1:1 clinical supervision, including 30 minutes each week, alongside access to experienced clinicians and a national Speech Pathology network.
Support for experienced clinicians
Experienced Speech Pathologists can access senior group supervision while collaborating with clinicians nationally to discuss cases, share knowledge and continue developing their expertise.
Ongoing professional development
You'll receive a $500 annual PD allowance, access to internal workshops and regular full-day professional development sessions.
Regional opportunities
If you're interested in variety or travel, there may also be opportunities to support clients across regional locations.
Your day-to-day in this mobile Speech Pathology role, you will:
- Complete swallowing and communication assessments
- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Support adults with complex and evolving clinical presentations
- Work across residential aged care, clients' homes and community environments
- Deliver telehealth services where clinically appropriate
- Manage your own appointments, diary and travel schedule
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, facility staff and other health professionals
- Provide practical education and recommendations to clients, families and support teams
- Advocate for clients' communication, independence, dignity and quality of life
- Collaborate with Speech Pathologists nationally and contribute to shared clinical learning

About you - To be considered, you'll need:
- A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- An interest in supporting adults with communication and swallowing needs
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to care
New graduates and experienced Speech Pathologists are encouraged to apply.
