An opportunity has become available at Boone and Willard Plumbing for a Junior / Trainee Plumbing Estimator to join our busy qualified team based in Sydney. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting the estimating team and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Desired Experience / Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proactive approach to problem solving and multitasking

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Ability to work either independently or as part of a team

- Relevant qualifications eg plumbing trade certificate, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field

- Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry

MUST HAVE: Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects

- Gathering and analysing material and labour costs, as well as subcontractor pricing





- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements

- Maintaining up-to-date cost databases and relevant project documentation

- Providing administrative support to the Estimating team as needed

- Continuously learning and developing estimating skills
