We are seeking an inspiring Urban Design Team Leader to guide a small and talented urban design team and help shape a greener, more connected and more resilient future for Banyule.

This role is part of Banyule's Leadership Network – you'll have opportunities to grow your skills and experience of leadership in a Local Government context and develop your skills as an organisational leader beyond your role-based expertise.

As Urban Design Team Leader, you will:

- Lead and develop a skilled Urban Design team, fostering creativity, collaboration and professional growth.
- Champion design excellence through the integration of Caring for Country principles, biodiversity, urban greening, water-sensitive design and climate adaptation.
- Influence the future of Banyule's streets, activity centres, civic spaces and public realm through strategic leadership and innovative project delivery.

Pre-employment requirements

- Current Victorian Drivers Licence

What we offer:

- A permanent, full-time position with a monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO)
- Salary from $113,252.44 to $126,351.47per annum plus super (dependent on experience)
- 26 weeks of paid parental leave - primary carer/4 weeks of paid parental leave - partner
