About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Cable Layer and Communications Installer to join our civil construction team delivering residential, and industrial subdivision projects in the Bunbury region. This hands-on role involves the installation of underground power and communications infrastructure, including conduits, pits, cables, and associated services. The successful applicant will be experienced operating mini excavators and working safely around existing underground assets in live construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Installation of underground electrical and communications infrastructure.

· Laying conduits, cables, pits, pillars, and service connections.

· Reading and interpreting subdivision and utility construction plans.

· Operating mini excavators around live underground services.

· Trenching and backfilling to specification requirements.

· Conducting service proving and maintaining asset clearances.

· Assisting with cable hauling and commissioning support.

· Ensuring all work complies with client, utility,



and safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience in subdivision electrical and communications installations.

· Demonstrated experience operating mini excavators around existing services.

· Current WA Construction White Card.

· Current Driver License.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and service plans.

· Strong understanding of underground service installation practices.

Highly Regarded

· HR Driver License.

· Excavator VOC or nationally recognised plant tickets.

· Western Power Network Authorizations (NAC)

· Underground Power experience (UPD projects).

· NBN and telecommunications installation experience.

· First Aid Certificate.
