We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to join Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable transportation.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Line Manager, you will be part of a cooperative production team responsible for delivering high-quality finishing work to strict specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding and other preparation techniques.
- Mix and match paints, coatings and finishes to achieve the required colours and textures.
- Apply paint and coatings using spray-painting techniques in accordance with specifications.
- Ensure a high-quality finish while maintaining attention to detail.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.




- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet quality and production requirements.

Your Profile

Skills & Qualifications

- To be successful in this role, you will have: A Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology, Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing, or Certificate III in Automotive Vehicle Body. Qualification will be sighted at interview.
- Previous experience in spray painting, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures and specifications.
- A reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol Test and National Police Check following a successful interview.

Location: Dandenong, VIC

Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension

PayRate: $64.90/hr + Super + Penalties
