Building Certifier / Surveyor - Level 1, 2, or 3

Are you an accredited certifier looking to advance your career or expand your project portfolio? I am working with a premier national certification group seeking driven Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Building Certifiers to join their expanding teams across the country.

The Role

Whether you are establishing your career or bring decades of unrestricted expertise, we have a position tailored to your accreditation tier:

- Level 3 (Residential): Manage plan assessments, issue approvals, and conduct site inspections for Class 1 and 10 residential projects. Ideal for certifiers building a strong technical foundation.

- Level 2 (Medium Development): Drive compliance and inspections for medium-density residential and commercial projects (Class 2 to 9 developments up to statutory limits).

- Level 1 (Unrestricted): Take total ownership of high-rise, complex commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential developments with full assessment authority.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess building applications, plans, and technical specifications against the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant legislation.

- Conduct statutory site inspections to verify structural, fire safety, and accessibility compliance.

- Issue regulatory approvals, building permits, and occupancy documentation efficiently.

- Provide clear,



pragmatic advisory services to architects, engineers, builders, and developers.

- Maintain accurate records and project documentation within our national digital platform.

What We're Looking For

- Current accreditation/registration as a Building Certifier or Building Surveyor (Level 1, 2, or 3).

- A diploma, degree, or tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or Construction Management.

- Strong working knowledge of the NCC, relevant state building acts, and local planning framework.

- Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.

- Valid driver's license.
