The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Asset Analyst to join our Asset Management team to focus on roof leaks occurring in our Partner’s sites
In this permanent full-time position, you will play a critical role in coordinating the resolution of roof leak incidents while driving the recovery of maintenance, damage, and asset replacement costs from landlords, contractors, and other third parties.
Working closely with Store Managers, Centre Managers, landlords, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure issues are resolved efficiently, recovery opportunities are maximised, and recurring incidents are identified and proactively managed via an agreed Asset Management approach.
This role combines stakeholder management, asset recovery, project coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement activities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems and influencing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Relationship Management – Develop and maintain effective relationships with Centre Managers, landlords, contractors, and service providers to achieve timely issue resolution.
- Roof Leak Coordination – Manage roof leak incidents from initial notification through to resolution, ensuring appropriate follow-up and accountability.
- Asset Recovery Management – Identify and pursue opportunities to recover maintenance, damage, repair, and replacement costs from responsible third parties.
- Project Coordination – Obtain scopes of work and quotations, support approved works, and monitor progress through to completion.
- Case & Claims Management – Maintain accurate documentation, track recovery claims, and follow up outstanding recoveries.
- Reporting & Analysis – Produce reports on roof leak incidents, stakeholder performance, recovery outcomes, and aged cases.
- Continuous Improvement – Analyse trends, identify recurring issues, and contribute to process, system, and reporting improvements.
- Stakeholder Escalation Management – Professionally manage escalations and influence external stakeholders to prioritise store-impacting issues.
Experience & Expertise
Essential
- Experience in facilities management, property management, maintenance coordination, retail operations, or a customer-focused service environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, including landlords, contractors, service providers, and internal teams.
- Strong administration, reporting, and case management capabilities.
- Experience coordinating maintenance or facilities-related issues through to resolution.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation,
and relationship-building skills.
Desirable
- Qualification in Property, Facilities Management, Business, Asset Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing cost recoveries, claims, or contractor performance.
- Exposure to retail property, shopping centres, or commercial facilities environments.
- Experience analysing operational data and developing reporting insights.
