The Opportunity
Bar's Leaks Australia LP is a fourth-generation family business with over 80 years in the automotive and industrial sector. We manufacture in-house and distribute across Australasia through major retail partners including Bunnings, Repco, Supercheap Auto, Costco, and Bapcor.
Our Sydney facility is the operational heartbeat of the Australian business, covering warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfilment for our retail and trade partners across Australasia. We are a business that moves fast and expects high standards, and we are looking for a Warehouse Manager who can own the floor and drive it forward.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a business where your contribution is visible every single day. If you thrive on structure, ownership, and getting things done the right way, you will feel right at home here.
The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager and Sales Director, you will take full ownership of our warehouse and manufacturing operations. This is not a purely supervisory position. As part of a small, close-knit team, you will be expected to work alongside the team every day, getting involved in production, picking, packing, and whatever else needs doing to keep the facility running at its best.
You will work alongside a small, dedicated team (of 3) on the floor, setting the tone through your own actions and work ethic. This is a role for someone who is just as comfortable making up a batch, picking an order, or packing a pallet as they are managing schedules and reporting to leadership. If you lead by example and take pride in a well-run facility, you will thrive here.
What You'll Own
Manufacturing and Production
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our manufacturing and warehouse operation. Day-to-day, you will be involved in the full production cycle, from chemical formulation and blending through to filling, labelling, and packaging finished goods. You will work closely with the production schedule to ensure batches are made up accurately and on time, following strict safety and quality procedures at every step.
Beyond production, the role covers the full scope of warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders, managing inbound and outbound stock, and keeping inventory accurate and well-organised. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same, and you will take pride in keeping the floor running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Production Coordination
Liaise with our office manager on production schedules and incoming stock. Ensure goods are received accurately, processed on time, and stored correctly. Identify and flag any supply or stock issues before they impact order fulfilment.
Inventory Control
Own the accuracy of all stock, from inbound receiving through to outbound dispatch. Implement and maintain robust inventory processes, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure our MYOB stock inventory management system reflects real-time stock levels at all times.
Order Processing and Dispatch
Roll up your sleeves and be actively involved in the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to our retail partners and trade customers. As part of a small team, you will be hands-on with the day-to-day work, not just directing from the sidelines. Ensure all outbound freight is compliant, correctly documented, and delivered on time. Coordinate with our logistics partners to resolve issues quickly.
Safety and Compliance
Champion a safety-first culture across the facility. Ensure all operations comply with relevant WHS legislation, chemical handling regulations, and industry standards. Maintain accurate safety documentation, conduct regular toolbox talks, and lead incident reporting and resolution.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team. Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable, and create an environment where people take pride in their work. You are the standard bearer for how the facility operates.

What You'll Need
• Proven experience in a warehouse or operations management role
• Strong background in inventory control, production management, and order fulfilment
• Experience managing and leading a small to medium sized team
• Solid understanding of WHS requirements in a warehousing or chemical handling environment

• Experience in the automotive, chemical, or FMCG sector
• Familiarity with chemical or liquid product handling and storage

Success in Your First 30 Days
By the end of your first month, you will have:

• Begun implementing improvements that make an immediate and measurable impact
