About Venue Nation:
Venue Nation Australia is a dedicated division within Live Nation Australasia (LNA), established to provide strategic leadership, drive innovation, and foster growth across the venue portfolio. The department focuses on delivering effective and efficient management of LNA’s diverse venues, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in the dynamic live entertainment market.

About the role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant supports Live Nation's Australian venues finance function, ensuring key financial tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.

This is a permanent, full-time role, with our core team based out of our Brisbane office in Fortitude Valley.

What you’ll be doing:
Responsibilities range from journals and reconciliations to BAS preparation, head office reporting, asset accounting support and management of various trackers. Deliverables are outlined throughout the month end and quarter end timetables.

What you’ll bring:

REQUIRED:

- 1–2 years' experience in any of the following types of account reconciliations: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank accounts

- Understanding of debits and credits

- Previous use of an accounting software

- Attention to detail and a professional attitude





- Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player

DESIRABLE:

- Exposure to general ledger coding

- Experience with BAS preparation

- Exposure to an ERP

- A genuine music fan
