The traineeship:
Working as a team to provide a protected, welcoming environment.
Interacting with children in a caring and positive way.
Creating meaningful interactions and engagement with a child whilst supervising a larger group.
Using initiative and being flexible to respond to children's needs, continuously adapting and reprioritising.
Assisting with planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate individual programs.
Professionally communicating with and developing relationships with families, providing high quality customer focused service.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
Passionate about working with children and able to effectively engage with children
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as a cooperative team member
A commitment to a customer focused service
Current Working With Children Check
Child Safety Training Certificate
