The Role

PLC Aquatic Swim Club supports swimmers of all levels to develop their skills, fitness and enjoyment of swimming, with a strong focus on quality technique and individual development.

We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and suitably experienced Swim Coaches to join PLC in a casual capacity.

Reporting to the Head Coach - Swimming, you will support the Head Coach and Senior Coaches in developing our swimming teams within an engaging, safe and supportive workplace.

The role requires availability for morning, afternoon and weekend training sessions, and occasional weekend competitions.

About You

Essential to this role are a current AUSTSWIM Towards Competitive Strokes (TCSC)



or SCTA Competitive Stroke Fundamentals (CSFA) certificate, First Aid / Perform CPR certificates, and a current Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC).

A current Swimming Australia Development Coach Accreditation (or equivalent internal VET units) and current Lifeguard qualification would be desirable.

You will have a strong background in, or a genuine desire to develop grassroots competitive and recreational swimmers to foster a lifelong love of the sport. You will also have a comprehensive understanding of the rules of swimming and the current competition structure within Swimming Victoria.

Your exceptional customer service skills make it easy for you to liaise with a wide range of people from various backgrounds.
