We have a contract position for a Prep class teacher at Holy Rosary School, Kensington. This contract is to cover a maternity leave position from Week 3, 19 October **** for the remainder of the school year. Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the Selection Criteria, include a resume and name three referees, including your current principal.
The successful applicant should have the knowledge and skills to:
create engaging, challenging and cutting-edge learning aligned with MACS Vision for Instruction using evidence based practices that support diverse needs and improved student learning outcomes
work collaboratively with a Year 5/6 teaching partner
support and implement the practices of MACS Vision for Engagement, including PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning)
nurture the faith of our students and integrate and promote engagement in the religious life of the school




participate and initiate ways to engage with the community, and to extend and celebrate student learning within and beyond the classroom
develop and maintain relationships with colleagues that contribute to positive workplace relationships
reflect on personal and team practice, and contribute to the professional growth of self and others.

Special Requirements
The successful applicant will:
have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic church
have VIT registration
be accredited to teach RE or committed to achieving this accreditation
be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
