Osborn House is a lovingly restored, impeccably styled 5-star luxury boutique hotel located in Bundanoon NSW ****.
The restaurant in the Hotel offers carefully curated menus that tell a story of the seasons.
The menus change regularly and they can be tasted while enjoying the views across Morton National Park.
Osborn House is now looking for a talented and experienced Hotel Manager to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Directing and overseeing the day-to-day operation of accommodation services, including reservations, reception, guest services, housekeeping and room service activities;
Supervising housekeeping, property maintenance and security arrangements to ensure guest rooms, public areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard;
Planning, coordinating and supervising restaurant, bar, function, wedding and other hospitality activities in collaboration with relevant departmental staff;
Monitoring guest satisfaction, reviewing feedback and complaints, and implementing appropriate measures to maintain and improve service standards;
Overseeing hotel accounting, purchasing and operational expenditure, including monitoring budgets, reviewing costs and maintaining appropriate financial controls;
Managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships and stock requirements to ensure the efficient and cost-effective supply of goods and services;
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements, liquor licensing obligations and other relevant hospitality laws and regulations;
Coordinating and supervising hotel staff, including rostering, allocation of duties, training, performance monitoring and maintaining appropriate staffing levels;
Monitoring reservations, occupancy levels and accommodation requirements to support efficient use of rooms and hotel facilities;
Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and service standards to support consistent and efficient hotel operations;
Coordinating property inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance activities to ensure the premises, grounds and facilities remain safe, functional and well presented;
Providing guests with information regarding local attractions, tourism services, transport and other available services, and assisting with arrangements where required.
The right candidate will possess:
At least 3 years of experience as Hotel Manager;
Strong leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to coordinate teams across accommodation, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and guest services;
Excellent guest service, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to assess guest satisfaction and resolve complaints professionally;
Solid organisational and operational management skills, with the ability to coordinate reservations, accommodation services, functions and other hotel activities;
Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, purchasing, cost control and monitoring operational expenditure;
Good knowledge of hotel reservation systems, property management software and general hospitality administration;
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond effectively to operational and guest-related issues;
Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, liquor licensing obligations and relevant hospitality laws and regulations;
Ability to oversee property maintenance, security arrangements and presentation standards across guest rooms and common areas;
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of service, efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Job Type: full-time, permanent;
Salary: $76,000 - $85,000
