About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Short Order Cook to join our dynamic team at Easts Leagues Brisbane. As a Short Order Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time role based in our Coorparoo, QLD location.

Weekend/Night availability is required for this position.

What you'll be doing
Preparing a variety of dishes to order in a timely and efficient manner
Maintaining a clean and organised work station to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and following established procedures
Assisting with menu development and providing feedback on new dish ideas
Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills

What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Short Order Cook or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple orders efficiently




Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to food quality
Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must have Australian work rights
