We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated male Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team to support our male clients living in Aspley Area
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with community participation and social outings.
In-home support and Community Access (CAS)Around 15–20 hours per week
Calm, patient, and non-assertive approach
Able to provide gentle prompting and respectful support
Participant is independent but needs clear communication and emotional understanding.
Someone reliable, kind, and committed long-term.
Implementing support plans and promoting clients' independence.
Building strong, positive relationships with clients.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
About You:
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities with Auslan (sign language) experience to communicate.
Previous experience in a similar role or a robust desire to learn.
Certificate III in Disability Support Services or similar qualification is desirable,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the varying needs of clients.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Screening Check, and National
Police Check.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
