We are seeking a skilled Payroll professional for a temporary 3-week assignment based in Knoxfield within the industrial/manufacturing industry. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing to support the organisation's financial operations.

This organisation operates in the industrial/manufacturing sector and is based in Knoxfield.

Description
Analyse and reconcile approximately six years of historical payroll and timekeeping data.
Review hours worked against overtime payments and calculate any discrepancies.
Perform employee-level backpay calculations using established payroll rules and methodologies.
Investigate missing, duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent payroll data.
Reconcile calculations back to payroll records and maintain a clear audit trail.
Prepare detailed employee schedules and summary reports for payroll review and processing.
Deliver clear working papers and documentation to support Payroll, HR, and Finance review processes

Profile




Robust Australian payroll experience.
Previous exposure to payroll remediation, reconciliations, backpay projects, or payroll audits.
Advanced Excel skills
Experience reconciling payroll against time and attendance records.
Strong understanding of payroll calculations, overtime, and allowances.
Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
The ability to work independently and investigate data anomalies.
