You will lead and supervise our skylight installation team in a senior, hands-on role. Most of our work involves specialised VELUX skylight installations, roof flashings and associated roof work on residential properties across Melbourne. This is not a typical full-roof plumbing position.
Key responsibilities
Lead and supervise our skylight installation team, ensuring roof-plumbing work is completed in accordance with requirements.
Install VELUX skylights and associated roof flashings.
Work on both tiled and metal roofs.
Assess roof conditions and determine appropriate installation and flashing methods.
Help maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety and weatherproofing.
Assist the team with more complex installations and onsite problem-solving.
Communicate professionally with customers and our office team.
Take a senior role in the day-to-day roof-plumbing side of our installation business.
About you
Current Victorian plumbing licence covering the relevant roof-plumbing work.
Strong residential roof-plumbing experience.
Good knowledge of flashings, metal roofing and weatherproofing.
Current driver's licence.
Construction White Card.
Ability to lead and supervise other installers.
Robust attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
A professional attitude and pride in your workmanship.
Previous VELUX skylight experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
