As a youth justice worker, you will guide young people in custody through rehabilitation by modelling positive behaviour and engaging them in programs to build life and work skills.

This is a frontline custodial role in a youth detention facility where you will also promote key security procedures.

Your work will help young people get their lives back on track by:
maintaining safety and security
establishing healthy routines
setting explicit boundaries and redirecting challenging behaviour
responding to incidents
helping them develop positive relationships
facilitating support from health and mental health providers.
