Geely Melville is seeking an experienced and motivated New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our sales team.

This opportunity would suit a customer-focused automotive salesperson who enjoys building relationships, managing enquiries and achieving sales targets.

The Role

You will guide customers through the complete vehicle purchasing process while providing professional and knowledgeable service.

Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers and identifying their vehicle requirements
Presenting suitable Geely models and providing accurate product advice
Managing showroom, telephone and online sales enquiries
Conducting vehicle demonstrations and coordinating test drives
Following up prospective customers and maintaining an active sales pipeline
Developing new business through referrals and prospecting
Building lasting relationships with current and existing customers
Understanding each customer’s objectives, budget and buying criteria
Maintaining solid knowledge of the Geely range and available stock
Working towards agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets
Completing sales documentation accurately
Coordinating with the Pre-Delivery Department to arrange vehicle handovers




Ensuring agreed accessories, options and extras are completed before delivery

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Previous automotive or vehicle sales experience
A robust record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A professional and customer-focused approach
Confidence building relationships and closing sales
Strong organization and follow-up skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Competence using email, dealership systems and other computer programs
A current WA driver’s license and the ability to drive manual vehicles
A current WA Motor Vehicle Salesperson’s License
