Macarthur Early Learning, in Elderslie is a well established and reputed centre in the area operating at maximum capacity. We require a full time/part time maternity leave position experienced early childhood teacher to join our team on a fixed term contract.

The successful applicant would meet the following Selection Criteria:

Essential Requirements
ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
Current NSW Working With Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
Current Child Safety Training.
Current Child Protection Training.
Sound knowledge of early childhood development and educational practice.
Robust communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality education and care.
Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate an engaging educational program based on children's interests, strengths and individual needs.
Observe and document children's learning and development.
Build positive,



respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
Support children's wellbeing, inclusion, social development and school readiness.
Provide guidance and support to educators within the room.
Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
Ensure programming and practices align with the Early Years Learning Framework and relevant regulations and standards.
Communicate professionally with families, educators and management.
Participate in team meetings, career development and reflective practice.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality and child safety requirements are upheld.
