The Company
This is a well known SA food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for delivering excellence in quality and service. They are offering a rare prospect for a Leading Hand or Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, with structured training and support provided.

Your Role
As a hands-on Team Leader, you'll support the production team on the factory floor, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Duties include:
Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
Scheduling orders for production and ensuring raw materials used are accurate and in line with customer and industry expectations
Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback
Maintaining a positive, safe and collaborative team culture
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams
Managing competing priorities in a rapid-paced production environment

About You
You might be a current Leading Hand or Supervisor in Food Production who's reached their ceiling in their current workplace. You'll demonstrate:
Experience in manufacturing (ideally Food Production)
Previous experience as the Senior person on the production team




Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
