Our client is an established Australian manufacturing company with a complex, high-value production and inventory workplace. They are investing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to underpin their supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory functions as the business scales.

The Role We're seeking a D365 F&O; Functional Consultant with strong Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing expertise to support and enhance the client's ERP platform. You'll work closely with operations, warehouse, and production teams to configure, design and optimise SCM and manufacturing processes within D365 F&O.;

Key Responsibilities
Configure and support D365 F&O; SCM modules: procurement, inventory management, warehouse management (WHS), and trade
Support and optimise manufacturing processes including production control, discrete/process manufacturing, master planning, and BOM/routing management
Partner with operations and production stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system design
Lead or support end-to-end testing, UAT, and cutover activities for SCM/manufacturing workstreams




Identify process improvement opportunities and configure system enhancements accordingly
Provide functional troubleshooting and issue resolution for production support tickets
Document functional designs, process flows, and training materials
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customisations, and data migration touching SCM/manufacturing

About You
5+ years' hands-on D365 F&O; functional experience, with a clear focus on SCM and/or Manufacturing modules
Strong understanding of inventory, warehouse management, procurement, and production control processes
Experience working in a manufacturing or similarly complex inventory-driven workplace highly regarded
Comfortable working directly with operations/plant stakeholders, not just IT
Robust requirements-gathering, configuration, and testing skills
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
