EXPERIENCED COOK – CASUAL POSITIONS

Bulli Beach Café & North Beach Pavilion

We are looking for two experienced Cooks to join our kitchen teams, with one position available at Bulli Beach Café and one at North Beach Pavilion, North Wollongong.

These are casual positions with an immediate start available.

We are busy, established beachfront venues operating across breakfast and lunch daily, with evening trade on selected days. We’re looking for reliable, experienced Cooks who are confident working in a quick-paced, high-volume commercial kitchen.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking dishes to our established recipes and presentation standards
Working across breakfast, lunch and dinner services
Managing your section efficiently during busy services
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
Assisting with prep, stock rotation and general kitchen organisation
Working closely with our chefs and wider kitchen team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Applicants must:
Have at least 2 years' experience working as a Cook in a busy commercial kitchen
Be confident working independently on a section
Be reliable,



punctual and organised
Work well under pressure in a high-volume workplace
Have a solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Be available across a rotating roster including weekends and some evenings
Be currently located in Australia and available to commence immediately

EMPLOYMENT & PAY

This is a casual, payroll position, with wages paid in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award, including applicable casual loading, penalty rates and superannuation.

North Beach Pavilion – North Wollongong
