Casual | Approx. 3 days/week until Christmas, with potential for 2 days/week in 2027
Géniale is seeking an experienced, clinically confident Registered Nurse to join our medical team in Drummoyne.
We are looking for a capable, hands-on RN who is comfortable working closely with doctors across medical and procedural care. The immediate requirement is approximately 3 days per week through to Christmas 2026, with the potential to continue for approximately 2 days per week in 2027.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role includes:
Assisting doctors with clinical and procedural treatments
Cannulation and blood collection / venepuncture
Preparing patients and treatment rooms
Maintaining sterile technique and infection-control standards
Taking observations and assisting with patient monitoring
Providing patient aftercare and follow-up
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Supporting patients receiving care that can sometimes involve sensitive or private health concerns
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years' nursing experience
Robust hands-on clinical and procedural nursing skills
Confidence with cannulation and venepuncture
Experience assisting doctors with procedures
Strong infection-control and sterile-technique skills
Excellent patient-care and communication skills
Professionalism, discretion and solid attention to detail
Confidence working independently within an experienced medical team
Previous experience in a specialist medical, procedural, surgical, dermatology, ENT, cosmetic medical or similar workplace would be highly regarded but is not essential.
This is not an injecting-nurse position.
Training will be provided in Géniale's specific clinical workflows and treatments.
HOURS
Now to Christmas 2026: approximately 3 days per week
2027: potential ongoing work for approximately 2 days per week
