Salary Starting : $70,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.

Join Bega Garnbirringu Health Service to provide outreach and support to people experiencing homelessness. Through regular patrols and engagement, you will connect clients with accommodation, housing and essential support services while respecting individual, cultural and lifestyle choices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Solid communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal people from diverse communities
Positive understanding of Aboriginal culture, family dynamics and the impacts of trauma
Cross-cultural awareness and understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal communities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in crisis situations
Confidence in managing challenging behaviours, including interactions with intoxicated clients




Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to work the hours required for the position
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office are desirable
Certificate II or higher in Community Services and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable

Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to provide:
Current Working with Children Check (WA)
National Criminal History Check (Police Clearance) – valid within the last 3 months
Current WA “C” Class Driver's Licence
