Bartenders and Waitstaff – New Gold Coast Store | Opening Mid-October

Third Wave BBQ, one of Melbourne’s leading American BBQ restaurants, is coming to the Gold Coast.

Known for smoked meats, great cocktails and a fun, fast-paced atmosphere, we’re building a team for our new Gold Coast store, opening in mid-October. We’re looking for enthusiastic bartenders and waitstaff to join us.

Successful candidates will need to be available for training and onboarding before opening.

Your Role

Bartenders
Prepare cocktails, beers and other beverages efficiently
Recommend drinks that pair well with our BBQ menu
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
Ensure the responsible service of alcohol

Waitstaff
Welcome guests and guide them through the menu
Take food and drink orders accurately
Deliver food and beverages promptly
Provide attentive and friendly service throughout the guest experience





Shared Responsibilities
Process orders and payments using our POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the venue
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts
Help establish a positive and qualified culture in the recent store

What We’re Looking For
Current Queensland RSA certificate
At least one year of hospitality experience preferred
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Confidence working in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
Availability for pre-opening training and onboarding
