Turf 2 Trees Horticulture is recruiting first-year horticulture apprentices to join our team in 2027.
These positions would suit anyone wanting to build a practical, long-term career working outdoors. Whether you’re finishing school, looking for your first full time job or considering a change of career, we’re looking for people who are keen to learn and aren’t afraid of a bit of hard work.
You’ll work across high-quality residential gardens, rural properties and estates, gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced horticulture specialists.
What you'll get
This apprenticeship combines paid, on-the-job training with formal TAFE study. You’ll learn the trade while working as part of the team and finish your apprenticeship with a nationally recognised horticulture qualification.
We offer above-Award wages, with your pay increasing as you progress through your apprenticeship and build your skills and experience.
Your on-the-job training will expose you to a broad range of horticultural work,
including garden maintenance, planting, pruning, plant care, turf and general property horticulture. No two properties — or days — are exactly the same.
Who we're looking for
You don’t need previous horticultural experience. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter most.
You’ll be a valuable fit if you:
enjoy practical, hands-on work and being outdoors
are reliable, punctual and willing to turn up and have a go
are interested in plants, gardens and learning how to care for them properly
can work well as part of a team and take direction
are prepared for the physical nature of horticultural work and working outside in different weather conditions.
If you’re looking for more than just a job and want to come out of the next few years with practical skills, real experience and a recognised trade qualification, we’d love to hear from you.
