ATS Surveyors is seeking an experienced and motivated Draftsperson to join our surveying team in Gladesville. The successful applicant will work closely with our Registered Surveyors and field teams to prepare accurate, high-quality survey plans and documentation for a variety of projects throughout Sydney and NSW.
Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed survey plans using AutoCAD/BricsCAD and surveying software
Draft detail and level surveys, boundary surveys, identification surveys and set-out plans
Prepare Deposited Plans, easement plans, subdivision plans and associated documentation
Process and interpret field survey data
Work from Leica survey data and field observations
Review plans for accuracy, presentation and compliance with company standards
Liaise with Registered Surveyors and field staff to resolve drafting and survey issues
Maintain organised project drawings, records and digital files
Assist with preparation of plans for NSW Land Registry Services and councils
About you
Previous drafting experience within a land surveying or civil workplace
Solid AutoCAD/BricsCAD 2D skills
Valuable understanding of surveying terminology and survey plans
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience with AutoCAD/BricsCAD 3D skills would be an advantage
Experience with Leica/CivilCAD/12d or similar surveying software would be highly regarded
Experience preparing NSW subdivision and easement plans would be an advantage
