Workfast is currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join a locally owned and operated waste management business servicing Townsville and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for ongoing work, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after approximately 6 months for the right candidate.

About the Role You’ll be working across a variety of commercial and industrial waste services, operating contemporary vehicles and assisting with the collection, loading and transportation of different waste streams.

Duties may include:
Operating a range of vehicles including vacuum trucks, hook lifts, front lifts and flatbed delivery trucks
Loading and unloading commercial and industrial waste
Operating a forklift where required
Completing local deliveries and waste collections
Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of vehicles
Following all safety procedures and company requirements
Providing professional and friendly service to customers

About You To be successful, you will have:
Current HR Licence (minimum)
A clean driving record
Previous truck driving experience
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety




A professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and a solid work ethic
