Seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated medical receptionist to join an orthopaedic surgeon for an immediate start. Looking for someone who has excellent customer services skills, qualified and personable individual. Fluency and proficiency in English required. This surgeon works in a unique and agile orthopaedic centre and has a growing practice. Potential for the role to grow for the successful candidate. Experience in medical reception is preferable.
About the Business
Orthopaedic surgeon working at a state-of-the-art orthopaedic practice with established surgeons. The practice combines state of the art facilities with a team of surgeons, researchers and engineers, and includes a strength and conditioning centre and a research innovation hub that is an Australian first.
About the role
You will be the administrative support for one surgeon and Practice Manager
Full-time position with an immediate start
Office administration including reception, taking patient bookings and enquiries
Front desk reception duties and patient check-in
Handling patient enquiries and correspondence
Billing, invoicing and processing
Maintaining accurate patient records and systems
Clinic organisation
Organising proofreading, formatting and electronic dispatch of correspondence
Ability to work in multiple locations including St. Leonards and the SAN clinic
Paperless based practice
Flexibility with working hours

Skills and experience
Previous medical practice experience preferred
Excellent customer-service skills required
Familiarity with medical terminology preferable
Medical software experience preferable
Permanent resident or Australian citizen required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, able to work autonomously and within a team
Organised and able to multitask a must
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced setting
