We are looking for a reliable and capable Carpenter to join our growing team, primarily completing second fix carpentry on transportable and modular buildings.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent hours, a permanent work location and the prospect to develop and progress within a growing construction company.

The Role

The majority of your work will be second fix carpentry, including:
Hanging and fitting doors
Installing skirting boards
Fitting robe shelving
General internal finishing work
Working independently to achieve reasonable daily work targets
Maintaining a valuable standard of workmanship

While second fix will be your primary role, we’re looking for someone who is also happy to jump in with the wider team when required. This may include framing and external cladding a couple of days per week, depending on workload.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need to:
Be a qualified carpenter
Be confident hanging doors, installing skirting and fitting robe shelving
Be able to work efficiently without constant supervision
Take pride in the quality of your work
Be reliable and punctual
Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Be willing to assist with framing, cladding and other carpentry work when required
Be able to maintain a reasonable and consistent daily work output
