About the role

You will work across both ACT Ortho and ACT Perio, assisting our specialist clinicians and helping to provide an exceptional experience for our patients.

Key responsibilities
Chairside assisting for orthodontic and periodontal procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining excellent infection control standards
Sterilisation and instrument processing
Taking and assisting with clinical photographs, scans and records
Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
Assisting with orthodontic procedures, including braces, aligner treatment and more
Assisting with periodontal and surgical procedures
Helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently
Providing a warm, professional and positive experience for patients

About you
Friendly, caring and confident with patients
Reliable, organised and proactive
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable working in a busy, growing practice
Able to adapt and learn recent systems and clinical workflows
Interested in developing skills across both orthodontics and periodontics




Committed to high standards of patient care and attention to detail
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
Experience in orthodontics or periodontics would be highly regarded
