About the Chance

Are you a confident communicator who enjoys talking to people, building relationships and achieving targets?

Join APG as an Education Counsellor and help Filipino students turn their dream of studying in Australia into reality.

We welcome candidates from sales, customer service, counselling, education or other customer-facing backgrounds. Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Connect with potential students through social media and other channels.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective students.
Understand students' goals and recommend suitable study options.
Assist with applications for ELICOS, VET, College and University programs.
Follow up with students and education providers throughout the application process.
Assist with course-related matters, including extensions, deferrals and cancellations.




Achieve monthly targets and maintain regular reporting.
Participate in training, professional development and industry events.
Work with the team to promote APG and its services to international students.

To Be Successful
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with people.
Solid relationship-building and customer service skills.
Sales or target-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good computer and Microsoft Office skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Filipino/Tagalog language skills are highly desirable.
Knowledge of the Australian education or student visa system is an advantage but not essential.
