Warehouse Operations Manager

Botany, Sydney | Full-Time

Simply Seated is a premium event hire, styling and production company, and we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the people, workflow and performance of our busy Sydney warehouse.

This is a people-management role, not a hands-on warehouse labour role. We already have experienced warehouse staff and Team Leads — we need a strong manager who can create structure, set priorities, delegate effectively and hold teams accountable.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, including:
Leading and managing warehouse Team Leads and staff
Daily workflow planning and labour allocation
Picking, staging and dispatch readiness
Returns and loading dock operations
Cleaning, upholstery care and quality control
Repairs, maintenance and stock preparation
Staff productivity and performance
Warehouse organisation, safety and standards
Identifying issues before they impact upcoming events

You'll maintain visibility across the entire warehouse — knowing what's going out,



what's been picked, what's outstanding, what's returned, what requires cleaning or repair, and whether each team is on track.

About You

We're looking for a confident and organised people leader who can manage multiple teams and priorities in a rapid-moving workplace.

You'll be comfortable setting expectations, delegating work, monitoring productivity and addressing poor performance when required.

Experience in warehousing, 3PL, distribution, logistics, equipment hire, furniture or similar operations is highly regarded. Experience managing Team Leaders or Supervisors is particularly significant.

You don't need event industry experience — strong warehouse leadership and people-management skills are our priority.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
