About the Role

Berwick Automotive Specialists is seeking a dedicated Service Receptionist to join our team in Berwick. As the primary point of contact for our business, you will set the tone for the entire customer experience—delivering exceptional service and ensuring the daily operations of our workshop run smoothly. This is a crucial full time position where professionalism, efficiency, and a welcoming attitude make all the difference to our success.

Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet customers upon arrival and provide a professional first impression.
Answer and direct phone calls and email enquiries to the appropriate team members.
Schedule service appointments and effectively manage the appointment calendar.
Process customer paperwork, invoices, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
Stock control and ordering parts as required.
Explain service options and quotes to customers in a transparent, helpful manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Manage customer follow-ups regarding vehicle status and upcoming servicing.
Assist customers with general vehicle maintenance and service inquiries.

What We Are Looking For
Experience:



Proven track record in a reception or customer service role (experience within an automotive environment is highly desirable).
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer care and professional phone etiquette.
Organization: Strong organizational abilities, acute attention to detail, and basic mathematical skills for transaction handling.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, office software, and familiar automotive terminology/processes.
Personal Attributes: A positive, friendly demeanour, strong team orientation, reliability, and punctuality.

This role is fully in office at Berwick Automotive Specialists. Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
