We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Systems & Infrastructure to provide technical leadership across a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership and people-focused role, providing direction, mentoring and support to Systems & Infrastructure specialists while working closely with stakeholders, vendors and wider technology teams.

Key responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to Systems & Infrastructure teams
Be a strong people person who builds relationships, develops team capability and brings people together
Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and problems
Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural input
Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, Intune and Microsoft 365
Oversee virtualisation, storage, networking, backup and disaster recovery
Contribute to Azure infrastructure including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN and vWAN
Drive effective use of ServiceNow for incident, problem, change and service management
Support cyber security, patching, monitoring and resilience initiatives




Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects and solution implementations
Work closely with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure technology services meet organisational needs

About you:
10+ years' experience across Systems/Infrastructure Engineering
Solid hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, Azure and PowerShell
Solid data centre, networking, virtualisation, storage and backup/DR experience
Experience working across hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
Strong technical design and troubleshooting capability
Demonstrated people leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management skills
Confident communicator who can build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams
Experience with ServiceNow / ITSM settings
ITIL Foundation certification is essential
