About the role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional customer service
Answering and managing telephone enquiries
Booking and managing patient appointments
Processing payments and Medicare billing
Managing patient records and maintaining accurate information
Liaising with doctors, nurses and other members of the clinical team
Responding to patient enquiries in person, by phone and electronically
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional reception area
General administrative and reception duties

About you
Friendly, professional and approachable
Confident communicating with patients and healthcare professionals
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail




Able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
Comfortable using computers and learning medical practice software
